Client: Bees Marquees – tailored marquee hire for weddings, corporate events, festivals, expos, and provider of temporary buildings for commercial companies.
Brief: Bees hadn’t changed their web content and design for over four years, but the industry had changed in that time, and their competitors had updated their offering.
Bees wanted a new site that managed to set out their diverse offering – weddings, corporate events, temporary structures – keeping the elements separate, but within the same environment, whilst appealing to very different audiences.
The weddings section had to show that Bees are not a ‘cheap tent provider’: they provide a high-end, individually tailored wedding experience.
Copy had to be SEO-friendly and build on the good work they’d already done in this respect.
Solution: Working with web designers, Zii Rii, a fresh, contemporary, and far more visually enticing look was created – essential for an industry which is all about the look of ‘the final product’ (particularly in respect of weddings).
The tone of the copy was to be warm, friendly, conversational, but – where necessary – it was given a more professional, businesslike edge e.g for large retailers or construction companies looking at temporary structures.
New, more current, testimonials were written up, along with key case studies for successful events, and image galleries with engaging captions and tags.
Keyword phrasing was kept relevant, but used sparingly across the site.
In the gallery to the left are some screenshots of the shiny new site, which can be seen, in full, here.
