I saw this a couple of days ago, about Bill and Melinda Gates getting divorced, and thought it was brilliant – inspired even.
And it got me thinking of other good headlines I could remember, so I started looking them up.
As a nice, easy post for a Friday, here are some of the best ones I could find.
To give some context to this next one, the headline ran while there was a reality TV show on to find the next Maria for The Sound of Music. The show was reaching its conclusion when this front page came out… oh and there were problems with Korea – Kim Jong-un specifically.
And finishing with an old classic. Freddie Starr (obviously) never ate someone’s hamster – the story was concocted by the late PR master Max Clifford, to get Freddie publicity for his upcoming tour.
